What's Happening in Ohio? 

If you remember a few months back, Ohio's Board of Pharmacy wanted to ban kratom. The opposition was temporarily slowed by a series of studies and reviews presented in favor of kratom. Did they listen? 

Of course not. They voted to approve the proposal to ban kratom. If they get their way, kratom will join substances like heroin and bath salts. 

This is a concentrated movement by a select group of powerful people who don't care who they're going to hurt. And we have until the end of April to fight them.

Why Your Comments Matter

The board was given a lot of science on kratom to review. Professionals, scientists, advocates, and more spoke to them. 

They ignored it. 

But you know what people in their position care about? Hearing from the people they represent. If they know enough of you will be unhappy with a ban on kratom, that might stay their hand when nothing else will. They may not be elected representatives, but they're connected to people who are.

That matters. It matters a lot. 

At the end of the day, the most powerful voice in government is yours.  

And we need it now more than ever. 

How to Help 

Would you want kratom to be a Schedule I substance in your state? We sure hope not. 

We want you to tell Ohio what you think. Tell them what kratom means to you, how it helps your life, and how will it affect you and your loved ones if it's banned. Do not put off until tomorrow what you can do today :)
